Sorry. Amalur was a great game. Main reason was because of the fighting game-style combat. Put that in an MMO and it's a win button, people want more action in their MMO's, just look at Tera. "Forgotten" is just not a likely outcome for an Amalur MMO. But, I do agree that the fan base would grow exponentially if a console release became a reality.

I've always loved the emergent gameplay in the GTA series. The little adventures you could have that weren't a part of the plot, but just happened due to the detail of the world. I remember in GTA III, there was a mission where you were sent out to handle some business with three other NPC's who would follow and fight with you. I thought, "I'm gonna keep these guys alive through this entire mission." I pulled out of the drive-way and ran right into a pedestrian vehicle. I figured I'd just drive off, until the civilian got out with a gun and started firing on us! My muscle climbed out of the car and I thought, "They're gonna die!" So I honked the horn and threw the car in reverse, firing out the window at the enraged driver, hitting nothing but air. Two of them ran back to the car, but I guess the third guy wasn't having it, cause he wouldn't stop shooting. He caught a bullet and went down, so I gunned it, trying to save the two guys I had left from this psychotic civilian. Ironically, I tapped his bumper as I zoomed past and his vehicle spun around, crushing him under the rear tire. As I drove off, I remember thinking, "This is the future of gaming. Nothing will ever be the same." And it hasn't been the same since.

Another thing I want to mention. You guys have to also remember that Reach comes before Halo 1, canonically, so the designs have been stripped back to acknowledge the timeline. Just because Halo 3's DESIGNS are better than Reach's doesn't make it a better looking game. Visually, Reach sits before Halo:CE very nicely.

Here's the thing about Halo: When you break it down like this, it looks like garbage. Seriously, you start to wonder how this is "next gen" visually. But, taken as a complete package, nothing else elicits the feelings you get from the gameplay. No other game makes you feel "against all odds" like Halo. On the highest difficulties, a single elite can kill you effortlessly. You are "in the trenches" in Halo, no hand-holding sir. And, (this brings me to my point) because the gameplay is so ace, the graphics actually "appear" better than they actually are. Instead of graphics-supporting-gameplay like most games, here, the gameplay supports the graphics. Halo is a different beast and, like it or not, deserves to be acknowledged for it's merits by those outside it's fanbase.
