Which only means this man was a murderer and nothing more. You're only after some witch hunt. You don't start looking at Churches to find any other potential murderers. This is..I don't what this is, but it's not well thought out. You have crazy people everywhere, from Theist's to Atheist's - it's nothing new here.

No he is a murderer and he is a christian to himself. just because you dont think he is a christian does not mean that he agrees. The killer thinks he is a christian. if this is so you have to see where he got his beliefs from. what part of the bible does he get them from. the bible is a bloody book. sections ofthe old testamenttellthe jewsto murderer everyone and rape the woman. if the guy acted alone then there is nothing to worry about. because like you say there are crazy people everywhere.
If he belongs to a church where members have similar beliefs where they advocate stopping abortionby any means then you need to see what or be aware ofwhat is going on at that church .
You keep thinking that. Go on these witch hunts and maybe you'll notice the many more good and decent people who are not killers. Would you callmy beliefs similar because I believe in the Bible?
Most people are not killers. But there are SOME people who kill because of christianity, like the abortion doctor killer.
basically the bible is a menu of choices. some parts say to rape your enemies kill everyone. some parts say work together with your enemies. turn the other cheek.i have no idea what your interpretation of the bible is.

Which does not mean Christianity is wrong. It means this person is wrong for killing. His reason could very well be "This is what HE believed" - I ask you so what? How does that say anything about Christianity? It doesn't say anything about Christianity. Would we do away with Atheism if an Atheist kills someone. Does that mean Atheism is the cause. Get real.

it doesn't say anyting about christianity in general but in this casethe man believeing he was following what god wanted (bible)was the oneof causes of the doctors death. random one time murderes dont say anything about christianity per say. but ifit starts to happen again and again then you have to take a lookat churches and see what is going on.

So? You are still using flawed logic. This person who killed this abortion Doctor was nothing but a Murderer and nothing more. Let's call it like it really is.
kev_stevens67
Of course he the killer is a murderer, but you have to ask the question . . . . . why did he kill.
And the reason why he killed was that he was killing becvause of his religous beliefs.
If you don't find the cause of why a person does something, then ther eis not a good way to prevent itfrom happening again in the future.
So besides being a murderer witch is fact what else was the guy to himself.
Heprobably thought that he was achristian doinggods works by killin a killer doctor.

This is your interpretation right? You do know that different people have different interpretations?[QUOTE="DroidPhysX"][QUOTE="kev_stevens67"]
How hard is it to understand the principle of Love? Is that hard to grasp. This 'Christian' obvisouly did not LOVE. Your logic is flawed. Using religion to fuel your own hatred DOES NOT mean religion is not about LOVE. It means this 'Christian' has a twisted view on things and nothing more. Why is that hard for you to understand. Whe someone Uses religion for hate, it does not mean that religion = hate. This was an individual's choosing the wrong. He must have missed the portion that said 'Thou shalt not Kill' and 'Thou shalt Love thy neighbor as thyself'

[QUOTE="Mordred19"][QUOTE="xscrapzx"] No, that is why I brought up the no other life forms exist outside of earth because there is not a shred of evidence. Basically I was stating there has to be a balance, but you can't sit here and say well no God exists because you don't have a shred of evidence or you can't prove your faith. Faith isn't something you can prove or show someone. Just like you can't show someone that you love them. I can go and buy someone cars, wine and dine them, but that doesn't mean I love them. You can't show love. We think we show love, because it is just word. Its a feeling and you know when you love someone, but you still can't prove it. Honestly trying to bring peter pan and leprachauns into the conversation of God is rediculous, why? Well because we don't know why we are here, or how we got here. I mean we are going by a big bang theory that some how this little small area somehow got infinite mass and exploded and here we are with a googplex of objects in the known universe, but we accept that as fact because "Things are moving away from eachother". Come on now.xscrapzx
the origin of the universe is a fascinating subject and I suggest you look into it more.
Trust me I look into it as much as I can and go as far as my mind can comprehend, but the Big Bang theory is just absurd as any other theory out there. The bottom line is we don't know and we will never know.there is a lot of evidence that supports the big bang theory. its pretty much accepted as fact. people do not know, what happened before it, though.
saying that we will never know is putting a straitjacket on the human mind. people have been doing this for centrues, but we always learn more
I don't like the fact that Christians are right about everything because an old book tells them so.
tenaka2
They aren't right.
They only think they are.

I think the best thing to do is to leaveafghanistan, but to do it slowly
if we do it too fast the taliban will take over
the war is too long and there is no good that will come out of staying
GOGOGOGURT
Ever heard of the Vietnam war? As soon as we pulled out, the vietcong swarmed all over south Vietnam and took over.
It doesn't matter how slow we leave the middle east, those taliban cowards will take over either way.
so what is the endgame ???
taliban are not cowards they are opportunity seeking guys. they will fight on whatever side they think is going to win. there are 3 choices.
Pull out fast and they take over.
Stay forver and we the united states spends too much money but keep the taliban at bay and that is not politically possible.
Leave slowly, like i say. and hope that the afghani can fend the taliban themselves after the Green Berets train them to fight.
