About to order the following parts, I have selected a nice power supply after many people said to invest in the corsair brand. I just changed from wintec to mushkin ram. Tell me if i can save money anywhere, or let me know about any other suggestions. I would go with intel, but i cant afford it. Also, I have a cd drive and an external 250 gig so i have plenty of storage and a perfectly good drive.

1. You won't need an extra cable, it should come with the motherboard. 2. Shipping won't be free, probably around $30 because of the case. Other than that, it looks good. I've never heard of the RAM and PSU brands, so you could consider going for something a little more well known for reliablility. Fignewton50

thanks for the suggestions, anyone else?

Any suggestions? i was thinking about going intel but its too pricey for me...unless someone here can reccomend a system for this price. And for the OEM hard drive will i need to order an extra cable to connect it since its OEM?  im running games at 1440x900 (19 inch widescreen lg).

Will i get free shipping for ordering this much? i have never ordered from newegg before. also, if anyone can reccomend a better power supply for the same price...please do. i have a new dvd drive ill be using in the system so i didnt forget it. suggestions etc, i dont really want to spend over 650...so nothing to pricey if you suggest something. im going to be playing c and c 3, cod2, ut2004, hl2, cs source etc. i also want to eventually play crysis on decent settings which i will upgrade in the future when i can afford to :) comment please!

i would just buy a good 7900 series card for the same price and then when crysis comes out (probably summer-fall) there will be radeons cards...cheaper nvidia 8800's etc.  i mean why not run the games you have  now on awesome settings to tide you over until the crysis release.  honestly its all speculation right now anyways so its not a good idea to build a gaming rig for a game thats not even released yet.  sooooo be patient and buy a 7900!  always have to be so damn patient before building a system.  unless you're rich as ****

I think if you stil are going to get a dx9 card get it now. Soon, they will stop being supported.

you think so?  i think it will be a while before that happens...probably a half year or more before that happens.  i say that because there arent really that many dx10 games coming out.  of course once crysis comes out...i think company of heroes is planning to release their dx10 patch to keep them in the game.
