@lonesamurai1: Really, if ppl don't like a company and their games are crap, how hard is it to not buy their games? This addictive consumerism is slowing poisoning everything good in our culture. "I don't have a choice"??? Isn't there an article on gaming addiction somewhere nearby? People need to get grip on reality.
@Oogazi: Outside of the occasional bigotry-driven complaints on geek-page forums, the vast majority of criticism for this film focuses on the plot devices used, and describes it as a meandering collection of MacGuffins--you know, POOR FILM MAKING.
@davillain-: What's especially funny is that by the end of EU, Luke DID disband the order and become reclusive, and it was exactly the kind of creative decision that fans griped about with the EU and some applauded the de-canonization of the EU for. And now here we are, in the same creative place, and many of those same fans are now defending the very concepts they once griped over.
@jinzo9988: You know, he might be on to something, though. Little things like how poorly the tiger scene was done add up. When scene after scene in the show erode a sense of reality in the conveyance of the world depicted from the comics, the whole thing just starts to feel silly. That's what this conversation is about. And while I still watch TWD every Sunday, I can understand why the schlocky writing is causing is to bleed viewers.
