@chiefwiggum16: There's a huge fan following for the comics, which are massive in scale and inspired by the old cartoons. "More Than Meets The Eye" is an award winning books. And the books also drive a still-thriving collectors market for the toys.

@fox_fury: Given your Transformers "likes," you should know that the comics overall are pretty fantastic, award winning, even. Check 'em out, by IDW. I recommend starting at Chaos Theory, though others may not agree.

@kthulhu: The Hasbro cinematic universe is evidently scrapped now, after the concept flopped in their comic cook line.

@aross2004: What he was "currently working on" in that shot is Venom (which the entire article is about). And if you know Eddie Brock, "drunk soccer hooligan" is not a good vibe to be getting.

This is actually the SECOND failed attempt, as that "Dracula Untold" movie was originally the planned launching point for this shared Universe.

He should've known--those books are no longer canon :)
