altho the wifi experience is a handicap one on the ds, only accepting wep through game carts, it is functional. that leaves nintendo no excuse whatsoever for not putting all or most events globally through wifi connect. no you shouldnt have to go to nyc to download anything, it should be more readily available for the masses. once again, you cant tell people how they should play their game. first off, pokemon was design to allow ppl to play it how they want. back in the day i had 2 gameboys and 2 versions of pokemon, yellow and blue, just so i could trade with myself. would you tell me thats not how the game should be played? still that didnt get me a mew. oh and what would i have to offer someone with a mew? the mew is just an example but lets put this in real world scenario. would you trade something rare for something thats not? some people can only offer pokemon that are found standard inside the game. yeah now that there are traits, i could probably trade for a specific trait but thats still rolling the dice and wasting time when you could just break out the ar and save yourself the headache. more on point, this event is one of the better ones and given its downsides, thats sad.

using an action replay to get the MOST out of YOUR game is YOUR business. :D if nintendo made certain toons available for all then the field would be leveled but as it is, they dont. i shouldnt have to jump through hoops just to get a mew if i want one. put the mofo in the game. just an example. so when you say using an AR to get the pokemon you want is pointless, that is just not true. for one, you cant catch them all if they all arent in there. next, not everyone using AR the same way. some enables the encounter for the creature and works it that way but whatever. have fun with your game and let others have fun with theirs.

[QUOTE="mo0ksi"][QUOTE="bobbetybob"] PC version supports plug and play 360 controls and achievements. I do agree that the PC controls are quite awkward though, gave it a try for about 10 minutes and it had me baffled. For me the best thing about the PC version is Physx, yeah yeah, it's pointless little things but it really does add to the game, everytime I see a pile of paper I can't help but knock it over.Snagal123

I thought the controls were excellent on PC, and incredibly responsive. It's so easy to land counters with a mouse I think.

I agree, i thought the mouse/kb controls were excellent! I have a 360 controller but still felt the mouse/kb was much better as i felt far more in control of the camera which made things easier.

The game is 100% proof that a game designed for controllers can play perfectly on a mouse/kb, theres no excuse.

I agree.

Bluetooth is just another cool way to shorten battery life. I do love using it...wait no I don't. I never have need too. But you point is taken, the go and the 3000 do have their differences but in terms of gaming they do not.

Gfwl sucks in the same way iTunes does or any number of specialty made programs that try to force their usage. You don't need a 360 to buy ms points. I want to day they can be purchased in increments of 800 and 1000 but I'm unsure. In any case, ms points can be used on xbox live, zine marketplace or certain software on microsofts site.

There's a 360 game called final fantasy eleven. This game I believe CANNOT be played without a hdd. If I can, I would imagine it's not very fun without.

games for windows LIVE means the 360 controller is supported for it. you can play it on live, windows live, and theres another content sometimes available for download, similar to xbox live games.

"360 controller is supported for it."

No it does not

i didnt put live in there because i know the game doesnt have to be live enabled to support the controller. also being a *games for windows* i read that IF you support controllers then you must support the 360 controller. if people in the know, those will the actual game are saying bioshock 2 does not support it then that is a first and it is not the norm.
