Because most PC gamers has shifted to consoles. Still many own Gaming PC but most arent bothered with upgrading and hassle due to moving out of their parents basement and having huge disposable income for themselves and their own family now. Developers know what they are doing and they follow the veterans to their prefered platform. The PC community now arent what they are used to be. Clearly proven by sales and the cries for games from PC gamers on every bloody gaming forums! PC elities are PC gamers 10 years ago. PC gamers now are just whinners. Veterans PC gamers still influence the industry, they bring the games to the platforms where they want. So this is out to all you current PC babies. You are late, 32 years late into PC gaming!
If you still living with your parents maybe you wont have a problem. But for many of us who have to travel for business , have many other commitments, we cant expect to be burden by commiting to an online check whether it be by phone or other means. And remember those gamers that makes money are the ones running this industry and not that stays home 24/7 unemployed!

Lol. EA has seen the massive failure of Microsoft now they are revising their scam strategy. No matter. Nothing interesting came from EA for the past couple of years and will thus continue to dissapoint gamers.
Microsoft telling us that we need to be scammed to be given the privilige to play on the XboxDone. I have a super fast broadband connection and where Im living now I pay $170 / month and this is a no joke just for a broadband. I have no problem affording any consoles and any PC rig. But I wont support a company that so arrogant to its core audience. We need gamers for the industry to exist. So keep denying yourselves Microsoft. See how last before you introduce another console and abonden those who purchased your XboxDone and shutting the servers.
The more exoensive the hardware the more mature the audience. In the next gen we'll need to welcome the shouting COD fanboys. PSN is a great place where gamers are more matured and not once in my experience heard any shouting or screaming. Even PC we can hear screeaming nerds. Action speaks louder on PSN.
This can be done on the PS4 with the Gaikai cloud system without 24hr mandatory check! And its all free no fees imposed to the friend thats playing your game. Nice try calling your fellow gamers stupid. You sound exactly like a casual.
