Not a single difference this will make. Since it has no games, the only publishers we'll see for this Betamax v2.0 are EA and Microsoft themselves. And we know what they'll do for money.

Too much hassle for a Betamax v. 2.0

With the amount invested by Microsoft, there will be a huge paywall for the consumer and many shortcut by Micorosft to get good returns.

PS4 & PC and you have best of all gaming world.

I thought we can watch blue ray and watch live tv with total freedom right now. We can also stream movies for free. Microsoft must be for the casuals elite of gamer, with their non gaming cable box.
