Can we avoid using terms that insults gypies? Not all gypies are thieves or scam artists.

I wonder why people who do not care about certain games care to show their indifference whenever such games receive good scores. It is one of the most annoying behaviors here on System Wars.

Here is the scan of the printed Nikkei article. By the way, I can post scans from non-English publications like Nikkei.

With the assumed four-inch screens, this DSi model will be competing for screen size against the PSP 3000 which has a 4.3 inch screen. However, the price of this model will be the same as the current DSi model (Â¥18,900 which includes Japan's 5% tax). The $205 price is due to the strong yen over the U.S. dollar.

It is interesting that the Nikkei article make mention of the iPhone on the subheader.

If people think that the DSi will be the last DS model, we may be wrong if what Japanese newspaper Nikkei say turns out to be true.

According to NeoGAF, Nikkei had an article which states that the DSi model change will have larger screens (4"), but its price and functions will remain the same. It states that there is no word that this model will be released outside of Japan, but said that it is currently under discussion.

This new DSi model will be released in Japan latter this year according to Nikkei.

This is the same Capcom who brought Monster Hunter 3 to the Wii because of the cost of developing it for the original console is high. It was a wise move as Monster Hunter 3 has sold more copies than its console versions. The handheld versions are a different story and have the "legs" that are typical of high-profile Nintendo releases.

Bringing the MT Framework engine to the Wii will allow Capcom to develop games for it with the similar technical qualities as its console rivals.

The New Super Mario Bros. Wii. The other games on the list do not interest me as I am not a fan of shooters and graphically-violent games.

i dont see why it's so popularfmacraze

People can say that to any popular game they are not into.

The New Super Mario Bros. Wii may be the third-most preordered title according to VGChartz, but it may be one of a few that will have sale "legs" for months to come.

I do not think that so-called "core" games that this current generation of gamers enjoy have the "legs" to reach 18 million copies worldwide, or even ten million copies. Usually these games are "front-loaded," that is, they sell many copies in the first week or first month, then drop like a rock the next week or month. Most of the copies sold are from the first/early weeks or months.

Games with "legs" however, do not sell most of their copies in the early weeks and maintain solid sales for months or even years. Look at Dragon Quest IX as an recent example, a game that is still selling and by now approaching four million copies sold in Japan -- which is unheard of before for a non-Nintendo game. Another is Nintendo's Tomodachi Collection that is still on the Japanese Top Ten charts since its June debut.

[QUOTE="agentfred"][QUOTE="RedruM_I"] Ok, fair enough but Tales is already out, just not on NA.GreenGoblin2099

That does make things more complicated... Agh, does that make it multiplat then?

It is for GS... GS doesn't review Japangames.

Actually it did, but that was many years ago.

It would be best for the TC to clearly state that the AAAE's are from GameSpot scores, not from places like Metacritic or Gamerankings.

Didn't Rockstar make a game before GTA that was like GTA?caughtjoo

Yes, a game on the Nintendo 64 that is almost forgotten because it is little known. It is called Body Harvest.
