[QUOTE="Yandere"]

This worst cut scene I've ever seen.

Yandere

This is actually a fandub, as the actual game does not have voices.

Read reviews, that is the actual games English voice acting.

If it is, then I assume that the fandubs uploaded on Youtube are worse:

It's the same thing on the other side. I'd like to want something that is not a shooter or a sandbox game on the 360 or the PS3. Guess what will be the best-sellers on these consoles this holiday: Modern Warfare 2 a FPS. As for the NIntendo side, of course, it's Mario or Zelda. Nintendo released Punch-Out earlier this year and they'll release Excitebike (not ExciteTruck or Excitebots) on Wiiware. Nintendo knows their old franchises.

The 360 also had stalled. BTW.

Can we refrain from mentioning other consoles in the Wii forum? This is not System Wars.

It looks good but too expensive.

gearsofwin

This is the Japanese price converted into U.S. dollars. Of course it would be expensive, as Japan is an expensive place to live.

The Japanese price on it is $20 more on the American price of the Wii. Things don't sell for the same price in all regions. For example, a DSi in Europe costs 170 euros, which is more than 170 dollars. The Japanese price is also higher than the American, so don't feel surprised if it costs more there.BrunoBRS

Correct.

According to today's currency exchange rates:

170 EUR = 250.13 USD (The original price of the Wii)

For the DSi LL, 20,000 JPY = 222.29 USD (The dollar is now worth 89 yen, down two yen from yesterday)

The cost of living in Japan and many European countries are higher than the United States. Even Canada has a higher standard of living. There are reasons for the high cost of living, such higher taxes or supply and demand. We Americans will get a better price on the DSi XL when it arrives in the U.S. It would be a bad commerical move for Nintendo to price the DSi XL in the U.S. with the same price in Japan.

it might... it might sell better in europe and NA? it's for people who have hands that are just too big for the DSi .... maybe...greenarcher02

It is quite interesting that some who plan to purchase the DSi XL have large hands and find the DSi small to grasp. Perhaps it was design for people with large hands other than for older audiences.

Even though the Bayonetta and Tekken first-day sales are strong, is it possible that these games will be "front-loaded," that is, most of their sales are from the first few days or the first week? I have seen many games that sell very well in the 90K to 100K range in their first week only to to lose more than 50%-70% of their sales the following week.

I never seem to understand this type of game buying behavior compared to games that progressively sell well in the long term such as Tomodachi Collection.

If you are concerned over the strong yen over the major currencies like the dollar, it would be best not to import. I would import if the dollar is stronger, say, 110 yen to the dollar.

EDGE's not a fansite. it's not even a site. it's one of the most important gaming magazines in the UK. think of it as the british EGM, but still running.BrunoBRS

Not only it is a major U.K. gaming magazine, but it is also a trade magazine for the video game industry. Think of it as as the Hollywood Reporter or Variety (which gave a notoriously bad review of Super Mario Galaxy full of inaccuracies), both trade magazines for entertainment industry.
