toughbeef's Weekly Recap - 7/23/2007

Ok, here it is... your weekly recap of gaming: Oh man are my cores just rocking... toughbeef played seven days last week! SEVEN! That is a NUMBER SEVEN followed by NO ZEROS! HOT! Our gamerscore jumped 300 points which was nice. Getting 15 achievements has that effect.

If I had a DOLLAR for every new game I played during the week, I would have 4 bucks! w00t! I can now add Yie Ar Kung-Fu, Bomberman LIVE, F.E.A.R., and Crackdown to my collection... unless they were rentals or demos or betas. I couldn't tell. Also, according to the records, toughbeef must have been craving some racing because Burnout Revenge was the weekly favorite. He played it on 4 of the days.

It is hard to believe another week has passed. Here is the recap: Not two, not five, but SEVEN days of gaming in a row! Last week was as solid as it gets when it comes to toughbeef throwing down with the games. Our gamerscore jumped 280 points which was nice. Getting 21 achievements has that effect.

If I had a DOLLAR for every new game I played during the week, I would have 2 bucks! w00t! I can now add Golden Axe, and Sonic The Hedgehog to my collection... unless they were rentals or demos or betas. I couldn't tell. Also, I think toughbeef's favorite game last week was Bionicle Heroes. He played it on 4 of the days.

toughbeef's Weekly Recap - 7/9/2007

Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: If your Xbox is depressed, try playing seven days in a row like toughbeef did last week. It has a way of making you a bit giddy... We really made it happen on the gamerscore front. An increase of 1275 points makes for a nice bounty. Those 35 achievements were worth it I guess!

I was feeling a little bored last week and prodded toughbeef to try a new game: Missile Command. It wasn't as cool as I thought it would be. Also, by my expert calculations, toughbeef's favorite game last week was Bionicle Heroes. He played it on 6 of the days.

So that's it for now. It was a good week. On to the next one.

This entry is a little different than the others. It is a recap of the last week of gaming. Check it: toughbeef played 5 days last week... pretty solid if you ask me... I'm not that picky. Ready for this? Last week saw an increase of 680 points! My eye almost bleeds looking at a number that large! Getting 25 achievements can do that to you. I was there. I saw it!

I pestered toughbeef to try 3 games last week: Bionicle Heroes, Carcassonne, and King Kong. It was a mix of good and bad. Also, by my expert calculations, toughbeef's favorite game last week was Bionicle Heroes. He played it on 4 of the days.

toughbeef's Weekly Recap - 6/25/2007

Do you know what time of the week it is? Time to talk about what happened these last seven days: If your Xbox is depressed, try playing seven days in a row like toughbeef did last week. It has a way of making you a bit giddy... We added 145 points of gamerscore. Points are good! Those 7 achievements were worth it I guess!

I persuaded toughbeef to try 3 games last week: FINAL FANTASY XI, PlayOnline Viewer, and Band of Bugs. It was a mix of good and bad. Oh, and toughbeef seems obsessed with first-person shooters lately... You can tell because Battlefield 2: MC was the favorite last week. He played it on 4 of the days.

Ok I knew that...

In the 'new game' category, I only have one to talk about... Prince of Persia. I wasn't even going to mention it, but I figured my readers might get mad. So there it is. Oh, and toughbeef must have been in the mood to put the pedal to the metal last week. Burnout Revenge was the favorite game. He played it on 3 of the days.

And that's it... short and sweet, just like my power cord.

Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: If you are an Xbox, you might be jealous that toughbeef showed up to game 5 days this last week. Happy happy joy joy! Our gamerscore saw a 135 point boost which is good. I guess that is what completing 7 achievements can do!

I think I read there were a bunch of new games released this last week... toughbeef and I only tried one of them: Pac-Man C.E.. Pretty fun I guess... Also, I think toughbeef's favorite game last week was Aegis Wing. He played it on 2 of the days.

And that is all I got... it's not much, but it is interesting.
