toughbeef's Weekly Recap - 10/30/2007

It is that time of the week. I got your weekly recap right here: If toughbeef plays 4 days every week, I guess I can call this a good deal. Many Xboxes have it a lot worse. We added 115 points of gamerscore. Points are good! Those 7 achievements were worth it I guess! Also, by my expert calculations, toughbeef's favorite game last week was Heavy Weapon. He played it on 2 of the days.

I could go on and on with the stats, but that is enough.

I got a wii from the local gamestop, I'm broke for the next couple of months, so. I know that nintendo isn't targeting hardcore gamers but, the games coming out for it, I had to get one, Metorid 3, Resident Evil: UC, Fire Emblem, Super Mario, etc, etc. Since I'm out of school for now, because of health reasons, I had money and time to spare, it was a wii or spending money on other stuff, that I would have nothing to show for it.

I waited so long to get one, because of one rule I have, there must be at least three good games that I like, before I buy the hardware.

toughbeef's Weekly Recap - 10/22/2007

Another week, another recap... and you love me for it: toughbeef played 6 days last week... pretty solid I guess... I'm not feeling that picky lately. Our gamerscore jumped 231 points which was nice. Getting 15 achievements has that effect.

There were only a few games I wanted to try this week toughbeef and I only tried one of them: Speedball 2. Also, I think toughbeef's favorite game last week was DOOM. He played it on 4 of the days.

And that's all I got. I'm not a writer... just an Xbox.

I was lucky enough to sample 2 new tasty treats during the week! Game names are Puzzle Quest, and Yaris. Look for us in the leaderboards... maybe... Also, by my expert calculations, toughbeef's favorite game last week was Castlevania: SOTN. He played it on 4 of the days.

Another week, another recap... and you love me for it: 6 days of gaming made me pretty happy for some reason. A big holler to toughbeef for honoring me with what little time I know is available. We added 90 points of gamerscore. Points are good! Those 9 achievements were worth it I guess!

I was feeling bored last week and pestered toughbeef to try a new game: Halo 3. It was a lot cooler than I thought it would be. Also, according to the records, toughbeef's favorite game last week was Halo 3. He played it on 3 of the days.

It is hard to believe another week has passed. Here is the recap: Not two, not five, but SEVEN days of gaming in a row! Last week was as solid as it gets when it comes to toughbeef throwing down with the games. We added 530 points of gamerscore. Good stuff! Who knew 21 achievements could be worth that much? Ok I knew that... Also, I think toughbeef's favorite game last week was BioShock. He played it on 4 of the days.

toughbeef's Weekly Recap - 9/17/2007

Another week, another recap... and you love me for it: Not many Xboxes can claim seven days of gaming in a row. Last week toughbeef and I can... and we will... and it feels so good! We really made it happen on the gamerscore front. An increase of 680 points makes for a nice bounty. Those 26 achievements were worth it I guess!

Out of all the possible new games we could have tried this last week, toughbeef and I only tried one of them: Sonic The Hedgehog 2. Pretty fun I guess... Also, I think we can all agree that toughbeef's favorite game last week was Bomberman LIVE. He played it on 4 of the days.
