When I go to overclock my 8800gts using rivatuner, it just resets the clocks back to default.

I increase the clocks, hit apply and then ok. Go back into Rivatuner and the clocks are reset? What is up with it? Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Do you even know how subwoofers work? You have to place them properly. You can't just put them wherever. The worst spot you can put the subwoofer is in the center of the room. Try putting the subwoofer where you sit (that's right, where you sit) - get on your knees and crawl around while having a bassy song or moving playing. Once you've found the spot that has the most bass, put your subwoofer there.KHAndAnime

I tried putting it in the opposite corner as I thought it would help but it didn't.

You can probably just hear the bass more in the small space because it is bouncing off the walls.Big_Bad_Sad

Any ideas on what I could do? The part of my room where I can hear the bass is where the door is so I only go to that part of the room when I enter or exit the room.

Just thought I would add:

The sub sits underneath a table. The two satelights (speakers) sit on the table with my computer etc. I sit in front of the table with the sub pointing at me.

Also, the 2.1 system is the Logitech x-210's.

Basically, only half of my room gets the bass and the other gets nothing. Whats up with it?

This is my room layout: http://yfrog.com/0vroomlayoutp

Can anyone help me with this as I can't hear any bass where I'm sitting. Thanks

[QUOTE="hoosin91"]

I just tried starting it in safe mode and it now starts with the picture :D What is the difference between GTA 4's normal mode and the safe mode?

kevy619

i think some things are disabled, I can check when I get home.

I just looked up on google and apparently it just resets all settings to default including the resoloution to 800x600. I have just tried starting it in normal mode after being in safe mode and it now works :D Thanks for the help
