What CPU do you have?

Also, thought I might add, I'm running windows 7 ultimate.

Hi guys, so here's my problem. I go to play Arma 2 or Crysis and after about 20 mins of playing, my computer will just switch off. The CPU's temp doesn't go above 50 and the Graphics card goes up to 65.

I only bought the pc a week ago so I don't see why this is happening? I thought maybe something to do with the power supply?

Here are the specs:

CPU: AMD Phenom 9850 quad core (Thermaltake blue orb fan)

GPU: Nvidia 8800gts

RAM: 4gb

PSU: Colors 600w gold 12cm silent atx power supply

The CPU and GPU are standard and not overclocked at all. Also the case seems well cooled.

u will get performance boost but not so high that u can play new games on high settings but it will be enough for medium NLahren

Do you think it's worth the price?

I am thinking of buying a computer for 250 pounds. Here are the specs:

RAM: 4gb

GPU: 8600gts

CPU: phenom 9850 cpu ( 4x 2.5 ghz)

hdd: 1tb

Is this worth getting? Will it play recent games at good settings? My current comp is not very good at all:

GPU:ati 9550

Ram:1gb

Cpu: 3.4ghz single core

Will I get a worthwhile performance boost? Thanks in advance guys!

Alright guys, I have a budget of 50 pounds for an agp graphics card. I know I won't get much for the money but it's all I can spare at the moment. Anyways, I would prefer it to be a low powered card if possible as I only have a crappy 500w psu. If anyone could tell me which card series would be best for the money, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance:D

EDIT: I currently have a ATI RADEON 9550 so I would like it to be better than that if possible.
