@attirex: There's nothing misleading in the original tweet. I don't think anyone would read that tweet and think the AI is actually playing the game. You just seem to have an agenda.
Friendly reminder that while The Show has always had the most consumer-friendly card-collecting mode, the early access bundle they offer is an awful, awful deal. Maybe I'd break down and pay for the bundle if it gave you the Jeter edition stuff since the games have always been extremely friendly to no-money spent gamers, but the bundle they're offering is insulting.
Gold Packs, Show, and Ballplayer Packs are basically nothing, and you'll be flooded with them if you're playing the game. 10,000 stubs also isn't going to get you much of anything.
The crazy part is that 2025 isn't really all that far away and 18 months between seasons seems pretty normal these days. Even something relatively easy to film like Succession had a 14 month break.
@probable: There was a lot more work done on the 0 remaster than the 4 remaster. The HD version of 4 was basically the same game with some spruced-up graphics. 0 was more in line with what they did with the original's remaster and they skipped that one for remaking.
@brimmul777: It's pretty much the same quality-wise with everything else before 4. They already did a substantial remaster, so there's basically zero chance they will do a modernized remake of it.
As someone who's been replaying the entire series, I can tell you the PS1 games are always massively overrated. They were brilliant at the time, but, like the majority of the games from that generation, they really don't hold up in 2023. If you're playing the series for the first time and going in blind, you're not going to have an enjoyable time. Great atmosphere and music, but the story is barely there, the writing is comically bad, you quickly realize nothing actually poses a threat, you have way too much firepower and healing items, and the majority of the gameplay is solving puzzles that aren't actually puzzles but a way to have you constantly running back and forth to the nearest item box.
Fantastic games when you were 12. Now, not so much.
I guess there their marketing is working since you're bringing it up, but Dragon's Dogma isn't really on sale. It's part of every big sale Xbox does. I'm pretty sure it's $5 way more often than it's $30.
