Wood Man is an odd choice if you're only picking one from the Mega Man series. What about the Yellow Devil if you're not cheesing it? You get one chance to do damage then spend the next four minutes dodging and worrying about missing the jump timing the next time his eye pops up.
Shadows of Yharnam is also one I've never seen people complaining about.
How do you make this list without Capra Demon and/or O&S and/or Anor Londo archers?
@idakooz: That's kind of a weird take when you consider that the majority of our entertainment features incredibly attractive people in various states of undress doing pretend something. Have you never read a book, watched a movie, or played a video game?
While the actual wrestling tonight was great, the fact that they went four hours and still had to cut a match is absurd. WWE always puts together amazing video packages, but we don't need to see them 47 times. Cut all the video packages for Sunday's show and there's time for another match.
I would have jumped on this if they had done the same thing as Forza did and just charged the difference between the base game and the deluxe edition, but charging $63 (in Canada) for some packs that'll be outclassed in a few days is absurd. Even the players in the diamond packs won't stick in your lineup for more than a few weeks if you're a regular player.
The Show's pricing for stubs is always bonkers. It's so easy to earn stubs and packs, and you get so little bang for your buck when you buy stubs. It's almost like they don't want you to buy stubs.
You're missing that they're doing the same thing they did with Forza and selling Game Pass users an upgrade to let them play early. However, the price they went with is so absurd, it's probably better that people don't know about it.
@aiat_gamer: Hi. I'm reality. It seems we haven't met. It takes people to make the games you play. Those people need to get paid. Companies aren't going to pay those people if they're not making money from them. Because of the DLC that most of us were willing to pay for, we got great content for THWH2 for another four years, and they were able to turn it into one of the greatest games of all time.
If you want something, you're going to have to pay for it. I get it, it's be great if we lived in a socialist utopia, but we don't.
@gleencross: Wow, you’re entitled. These games don’t sell well. They’re not selling tens of millions of copies. Warhammer 2 didn’t sell 3 million copies and grossed half as much as 3 Kingdoms. However, it’s an enthusiastic fan base that wants to keep playing the game and want them to keep adding factions from the IP. They also have to give Games Workshop a cut. It costs money to keep putting content out and they don’t make enough off of the base game sales to cover that. There’s nothing greedy about it. We want content. They want to make the content. We’re willing to pay for the content.
@ormgaard: Just curious if you played Warhammer 2 before they added Mortal Empires. The Vortex campaign wasn't great until they added DLC lords that could ignore the Vortex mechanics.
Warhammer 2 complete edition is better than launch Warhammer 3. But Warhammer 3 launch edition is much better than Warhammer 2 at launch.
