Hell, I still have my Ninja Gaiden on GameGear. I'm an avid Ninja Gaiden fan.

That game is badass. It was actually developed by Sega under a borrowed license so technically it's not part of the core Ninja Gaiden franchise. But the master system version is my favorite game in the entire series :)

The Wiis GPU is trash, it wont beat the XBOX, yes it has more RAM but what does it mean when it isnt even DX8 compliant Egghead360

Ocarina of Time = 32 reviews counted on Game Rankings, Super Mario Galaxy has like 2X more and is only a few mini points behind it. Resident Evil 4 has like 100 reviews and is also a few points behind it. In other words, OOT has been dethroned loooooong time ago.haris12121212

GR is a poor representation of what the "best" games are. The amount of reviews OoT received back in its day were far less than most games receive today thus making it a much more easier to achieve goal for OoT. Most of the praise for OoT comes from the bandwagon these days and nostalgia.

There can be no quantitative objective "best" game since all of that "objective data" is subjective opinion.

If OoT were the objective "best" game because of its rating than the conclusion can be reached that every other game that has recieved the same rating, 10/10 or 5/5 or 100/100, at every other game review site/magazine is on the same level as OoT.foxhound_fox

The more reviews a game has, the less a bad review will hurt it's average (It's arithmetic mean).

100 + 100 + 100 + 100 + 80 = 480
480 / 5 = 96

100 + 100 + 80 = 280
280 / 3 = 93.33 recurring.

It's a lot harder to get a good score when the sample is smaller.

Ewwww arcade and Lynx games :P I prefer the Master System and Game Gear versions. The core NG franchise was good, but it had nothing on Ninja Gaiden SMS.
