@howmakewood: They have to to run VR good i hear. But then again, i heard the PS Camera and Move are outdated tech and dont pick up motion good.

Their selling point is that there are already ~40mil psvr ready devices out there, so this can't really be purely a vr thing

I'd guess on the ps4 slim + 4k video functionality, still dont think a slightly more powerful ps4 is the way to go

60 fps cap... why...

well I doubt From being incompetent with technical things comes as new to people, so it was to be expected as their physics engine is tied to the frame rate

Well that's unfortunate, I do not understand why some studios still use these archaic rendering methods..

when you can milk with old stuff why bother doing something better, look battlefield vs cod f.e

Can we also talk about why a game that is fast paced, reliant on specific timings and is running on only 30fps

It isn't exactly a looker either, so why not sacrifice resolution/some settings for higher frame rate -> better gameplay?

Depends on the game, any fps/fighting/fast pace action game I would most likely rather play on 60fps than on higher resolution

Makes no difference to me. The claims of games like Assassin's Creed being the same at 30fps are bogus. Uncharted remastered felt and played a lot better than the original versions mainly due to the higher frame rate. 60fps is always A LOT better than 30fps which is barely above what something needs to look animated/in motion.

My point was that it's impact on gameplay is much higher on the type of games I mentioned

That's some WWE class melee action on the last gif or is Drake a Jedi?
