That would be nice. About to buy i7 SP4. Would be nice to have a joy ride on my tablet during my joy ride trip. And they really need to do this for the Win Store games because ir hasn't had high profile games to test the performance of Win Store environment. I know that it still have full access to DX, but, what about C++ vs C#? I remember one trade off with C# is there will be slight delay on GC which is critical for gaming. Unless you can do UWPA with same kind of memory release in their UWP version of c++? Not sure how this works.
You can do c++ apps to windows store, developing them isn't exactly a pleasure tho from what I've heard. Tomb Raider is on windows store and it runs fine(if you dont account for the vsync,windowed only etc)
Unreal Engine for example implements GC and none of the GC's come w/o performance hit, but yes C++ is the better choice for performance demanding games
