[QUOTE="Amigro"]Inflation..... To think that PC games will forever be $50 is naive...SAGE_OF_FIRE
Um no, the only reason console games are $60 is because of licensing fees.

lol you beat me, but yeah console games charge 60 a pop because the owner of the console (nintendo, sony, microsoft) charges a fee to the game producers for making the game on their console.

on the PC side there are no such charges so they blame this rise of prices on high cost of production, which may or may not be true.

I tend to lean on the idea that they (game producers) are trying to cash in on activision new model which is greeeeed.

This is the reason I use velcro tape, I used it to tape my speakers in the back of my ford explorer so they won't move when im driving but I can pull them out when I need to

I used a smaller version of this velcro tape with an external HDD, it's on the side of my case, and is strong enough to keep it in place even if I shake the case

You should try it (on your next HDD), at least this way it will give you a second chance :)

of course it will play the games, storing them on a 512mb chip is another matter

First, to be able to play older xbox games you will need an update (as soon as you put a older xbox game in the 360 it will prompt you to download it)

second, I think original xbox games are way too big for the limited 512mb memory

I have halo 1, 2,oddword munch odysee(physical copy), and burnout 3 takedown (downloaded from live)

burnout 3 takedown is 2.3 GB in size So I don't think you can store xbox games on an arcade unless you buy at least a cheap 20gb hdd, you can find them cheap on the net google it

Sorry to disappoint you because it's a new pc and all but your integrated graphics are kind of (the bottom of the barrel) that integrated graphics chip

is used for multimedia uses and nothing more than casual games (old games) you might get away running a few recent games on very low resolutions

with all effects toned down, but don't expect anything great

looking for some reviews on that geforce 6150/430 chipset I found this

Hi guys, yesterdayI installed a 9800 GT. Everything seemed to go ok, but when I start a game, any game even World of Goo the screen goes black for a second then I get a message "mode not supported". It's like my GPU is automaticly putting all my games into a resolution not supported by my monitor. And whenever this happens the only way out of it is to shut down my PC.

Anyone know whats going on? I already updated my drivers and I've tried a couple of differant things but I'm stupped. Please I need some help.

Thanks guys!!

gregbmil

How about checking the refresh Rate, if you go over the refresh rate of your monitor, you'll get a nice black screen and that message

Try playing word of goo in a window instead of full screen, and change the resolution to 1024x768 and see if it works
