Sucks. Definitely won't be paying over $60 or whatever the RRP would be for a second controller, especially if the first one becomes unresponsive.
And it's funny, people whined about Apple and the iPhone 5 using different cables and whatnot, yet those same people have no problem with the PS4 not supporting their many PS3 controllers.
Whenever I hear/read about Crysis, I think "great graphics" and nothing more. I read a lot of negative things about Crysis 2 and the online being a problem and the Crysis 3 beta didn't do anything for me.
I might just end up grabbing this from EB Games and returning it within 7 days. Or just wait for a pre-owned copy and return it in 14 days.
This is why people like me have wanted Microsoft to venture into the handheld market, or at least have a phone which is capable of handling launch-day console titles.
Sony are moving forward and expanding their share of the video game market. This is a great move and one that will slow down sales for the competition.
I'm all for hack and slash, but I can't see this game being a keeper. Unless they add replay value, there will be a lot of returns at your local video game store.
As an Xbox gamer, I am excited to see where the industry will be going. I do have a PS3 and a PS Vita, but my only use is PS Plus and the free games you get with it. Other than The Last of Us, I lost a lot of interest in Sony this generation, especially after they dropped the support for PS2 games.
Here's hoping Sony reveal something big. Past conferences of its kind have been big, so there's no way this is just a software thing.
@Metallicwolf29 @iBuzz7S Ha ha, so you were a fan long ago? :p
I guess you're right, but it's doing fine today. They are appealing to a different audience and with everything they are associated with, going back to the Attitude Era will burn bridges with many contacts.
Regardless, it's a video game. I don't think it matters which era they are in because you can set those matches to end however you like. Hundred chair shots and blood = win. >=]
I suppose it's a good sign. If 20 players can warrant server maintenance for a further 4 months, then other publishers/developers may follow suit and continue supporting what's left of the games online community.
