Would you give Mario 1 a 10 if it came out again now?Phazevariance

If you updated the 2D sprites to BlazBlue quality and added 3 new levels with female characters, then I would definitely give it a 10. But, that's only because games like Mario & Ninja Gaiden are of timeless quality while most Hi-Def games are crap in comparison.

I hate to break it to you guys, but baseball bats can be deadly as well. Not to mention the fact that being beaten to death by one is likely to be much more painful than being struck once by a sword. Haven't any of you seen Inglorious Bastards?

If there was a Pokemon MMO, coffee consumption would go up 300% and the number of fatigue related deaths would quadruple.

Possible to be completed in 8 hours or less? That doesn't narrow it down at all :(Couth_

Think so? I mean games that are designed to be completed in 8 hours or less by going at a moderate pace(i.e. not including speed runs). You can include any game that feels short(but awesome) to you as long as it's below the 8 hour mark.

So I've been wondering... What are the best short-n-sweet single player experiences of all-time?

Here are a few examples of what I've heard to be among the best short games:

Portal

Super Mario Bros.

Metal Gear Solid 4

The question is...

What are your top 5 games with a single player mode that can be completed in 8 hours or less?

The original Xbox game with this:

Sega GT 2002 and JET SET RADIO *BLEEPING* FUTURE!

JSRF

Therefore, it has the best bundle of all time. Overall though, this gen has the best bundles.

Klonoa 2. It was a too easy, but other than that, I though it was one of the best platformers I had ever played. All my friends just thought I was gay.

^What?! How dare they make fun of you for liking one of the 20 best PS2 games! Shenmue is one of my favorite games, and although it received a lot of praise, it received a lot of hate as well.

My lowest rated game is Heavenly Sword according to GameSpot(8.0). Needless to say, it is a kick ass that is pretty underrated.
