Well my desktop came with an HD3450 by ati but its good for HD video but not gaming so I am looking to upgrade the graphics card because I have no clue whats compatible with my system ; ;

Ithas a x16 2.0slot

PSU is 250w

2gb of ddr2 ram(planning to upgrade to 4gb)

pentium dual core @ 2.2ghz

its a dell vostro 220s slim tower purchased by the end of 2008if it helps

I really never had anything to do with steam til mw2 came out

so redownloading would be a good alternative( all I need to have is my steam id and password right?)

also then what graphics card should I buy for that desktop?I would have an extra $150 if I buy that desktop and out here theres really not much to look at :/

Okay so I got mw2 for the pc installed on my laptop, it runs good but not that great...since It has ati radeon 4200 graphics which make it lag on high settings

I left for college 2weeks ago and I left my mw2 install cds at home and I forgot where I left them and my folks can't find them

I am about to buy a desktop for my dorm and I am wondering if I can move the install using an external harddrive from my laptop to the new desktop

if anyone can tell me how to do this it would be apreciated.

btw is this desktop good?

Hey everyone, my console locked up 3 times a few days ago while playing mw2 and it once showed the 3 rings but they went away after leaving the console cooling down for a day without playing

I still have a warranty and I called microsoft and told them that the console will either freeze up or show the three rings upon turning the console on

they said it would be a free repair but has anyone had this happen before?did microsoft fix your console even though it gave red rings when it felt like it?

this is the second time I send my xbox to micorsoft(the same unit is going in now for its second repair) anyone gotten a replacement console from RROD?my console has a 203w brick and its an HDMI Zephyr(not sure if its spelled like that) and I would like a falcon or even a jasper if ms loved me but I think I'm just gettng the same console fixed which will break down again in the future...

I already made a repair order with microsoft I just need to ship them the console

Mines gave me a RROD after freezing in tdm, restarted the console and got RROD again, restarted again and no problems "yet"

I'm not sure if I should send it in :S

Whats funny is that a game is causing this

why and how the hell is what we dont know and its probably that mw2 is using every resource from the console to run, in other word the xbox has too much workand it is starting to fail at handling it.

I also watched vids of COD 4 giving E74 when it was released

also the new NXE started giving E74 to some consoles after installing it

maybe microsoft will say something about the issue, who knows...

I did a little research and it looks like theres many more having the problem and that they have experienced a full RROD or extreme freezing while running the xbox

Well it went smooth until 27mins of playing tdm

froze again had to force shut down,reboot with RROD and then reboot again

I wish microsoft would build their consoles correctly
