@Kunakai: They offer what they do now because of Batman Arkham Knight PC release. Valve did it to save the PC gamers from being made fun for broken games. He did it to make more money. And it worked, now anyone says anything about borken PC games, PC gamers laugh and brag about the almightly Steam Refund Policy.
I think it looks pretty bad-ass and not sexualized at all. Blizzard done caved in like an avalanche. I dont trust companies who let others dictate them. Sorry Blizzard, you have showed a great deal of weakness in your actions.
@DrunkenPunk800: Not really, what Steam offers is way superior. Steam gives you a refund no matter what, Australia only protects from broken sales. Steam went above and beyond the call of duty.
I dare them to fine Valve, Valve should take this to a higher court in Australia. Valve is being penalized for developers crimes because they offered a free service, yet its EB Games in Australia that sells all the PC Games to Australians in which they activate in Steam for free, but i guess Australia is too scared to go after EB Games.
@jecomans: But what if they didnt sell it, and what if it was bought through the wire from a store located in the United States that has never sold outside of the United States. The store and company Steam is on American soil, you have to come to it.
@sangheili112: You could still get a refund, it just wasnt directly from Steam, you had to deal with the developer of the game. Australia stated that this was misleading and made it harder to get a refund.
