Australia is silly, you cant refund Steam, this judge should be fired. Steam is a free service. Steam doesnt sell goods or services in Australia. Steam doesnt even accept Australian money. Because of this, your Australian gamer goes to a store called EB Games and buys a game from them. They then activate it through Steam for free. Its up to the developer to offer a refund, repair, etc for selling you the goods and or service. Australia needs to just update its law to be more clear. Good thing Valve has already 1-uped Australia with its new refund policy.

@darkmoo: But it has never included digital goods and services. Also Valve does not sell goods or services in Australia, they sell them from the United States. Valve has never operated in Australia.

@mdinger: But the law was not in place. Australia had to just update their law to even charge Steam. Back then Steam trusted refunds etc to the developers. Steam was just offering a service that gated you to the developers games. Austraila basically just made Steam guilty of not offering refunds for other companies.

@mdinger: Steam does give refunds for broken games. Not even in Australia was it required as they had to update their law to include digital games just to charge Valve who doesnt even sell games in Australia. It just so happens that Australia can get access to Valve.

Australia, how silly can you be? You literally just made up shat and charged Valve with it. Gaben will not be pleased. Im guessing Australia will now be forcing Adel to offer digital refunds for her album. Lets go ahead and force Disney to give refunds for digital copies of Star Wars VII while were at it too.

@lordtenchi: I actually didnt pay much for it since it was an upgrade also. I think i spent under $500 still. New monitor of course. I should have bought a more expensive CPU back then, i wouldnt need to be upgrading now if i had. My PC is just below a PS4 but more powerful then a Wii U. With my upgraded CPU, it will be more powerful then the PS4 using a bunch of very old tech.
