[QUOTE="bigpimp14152004"]Just a quick question for thoes who would know the answer. I understand that slow paced games would look better in 1080i and fast pace games would look better in 720p, but lets say you have a tv that is under 30" inches. I strongly believe that no matter what type of pace the game is it would still look better in 1080i rather than 720p. My reasons supporting that is because 1080i has more pixals on the display than 720p, and if the TV is under 30" while playing a fast paced game in 1080i it shouldn't lagg (I know thats not the correct term for it but you know what I mean) because being that it is so small you wouldn't be able to see the scanning of the 60fps, that being that all the even scan lines would show image, and 1/60th of a scond later the odd lines would show image. Since the TV is so small it would be nearly impossible to view the achual scannings of the lines with the human eye. Anyone here understand my concept, or is there something else to it that I didn't mention? Ryeferd

when I play 360 games on my 26" samsung, I always use 720p. when I try 1080i, it seems much harder to focus for long periods of time. its not that I actually see the interlacing, but I do find it mor difficult to look at a game in 1080i.

For me its the opposite. I have a 30" Samsung and I can watch 1080i all day but 720p seems to give eye strain.
