@fig56 missing out on $240 IS losing/paying $240. For example, my son was extremely tired one day and was going to go to class but lay out of his 4 hours of part time work afterwards. I said "Sure....if you are willing to pay $48 to lay around and do nothing..." He said "I wont be PAYING anything". When I explained to him that at 5:00 he would either have $48 ( 4 hours times $12 per hour) if he works or nothing if he chooses not to work he finally understood that not taking the opportunity to MAKE money COSTS money in the end. I really knew he got it when three weeks later we stopped at a convenience store and got an expensive bottled water that was almost $3 and said "You know.....this is 15 minutes of my life right here in my hand...."

@ibonedyourmom No wonder the majority of Americans are swimming in credit card debt and have no basic idea of economics. The moment you pay $60 for an NES Classic you have an asset WORTH $300. Not selling that asset at $300 is costing you $240 to keep it. People do not buy stocks in hopes of getting their money back. If they buy a stock at $35 and it rises to $82 then settles back to $40 and idiot looks at it like he has made $5 per share where as an financial savy investor looks at it as he has lost $42 per share by not selling at the right time. Money not made is money lost.

At this point, if you snag an NES Classic and KEEP it you are basically paying $300 for it since you can easily sell it for that on eBay.

@heqteur Yeah......Nintendo has ALWAYS had plenty of stock for EVERY release since the NES. The whole concept of shortbaking must be all in my head. And btw....... Zelda BoTW is the best freakin' game EVER ! I will probably finish it about this time next year because it is so deep I can not keep on task with story progression because of all the cool stuff to do. I bought it for my Wii U ...... which was also shortbaked.

@heqteur Nothing like bending over to get reamed by a company that clearly does not care about their customers.......or mayeb you're just 13 years old and don't have a life and can camp out for 3 days to get a retro console.
