There is soooooo much to do. I spend time just bombing fish, collecting stuff and cooking it up to increase its "value". Since I don't have hours at a time to game it is awesome just to be able to boot the game up and kill a few minutes just completely exploring. This game is amazing.
Why are there no numbers in this article? Are they not available and we are just supposed to take Reginald's word or is this just very bad journalism ?
@fig56 They may be using this as a sort of "soft launch" also. I mean, they HAD to get something out there.....they couldn't wait until this holiday season with the Wii U as their console.
@fig56 I don't recall saying there was "no interest".....but when you compare the premium paid for a "sold out" NES Classic Edition and the premium paid for a "sold out" Switch you can plainly see the excitement has not hit a fever pitch. Maybe it is because there are 12 million Wii U owners like me who can play the only must have game right now without having to buy the Switch. Either way....I thought with consumers not being able to pick one up from stores or online it would be going for nearly double the retail on ebay.
@fig56: .......or...........Nintendo did what Nintendo does with every launch and does not put out enough units so it is "sold out" but the interest is not there to drive up the cost on the secondary market.
Not a hater. Got Zelda BoTW and it is a freakin' masterpiece. So you are saying that I can walk into any Walmart, Gamestop or Target and pick up a couple of Nintendo Switch consoles?
Forget any "retail" numbers you hear. The scalpers tell the story and the story is not good for the Switch. While the little NES Classic Edition is STILL garnering DOUBLE it's retail price on ebay four months after it's release, the Switch is only bringing an extra $70-$80 for scalpers on ebay a mere 3 days after it's release and "sell out". Compare that to the Wii which was selling for OVER DOUBLE it's retail price upon it's release.
