One major thing to consider......there are tons of people like me who picked up Zelda for the Wii U and plan to get a Switch months down the road when there are more games, there is an online presence complete with virtual console, the supply is there at the retail store level and all the bugs are worked out. I think it is safe to say that the Switch will be more successful than the Wii U but comparing it to the Wii right now is a little iffy .

@joshrmeyer It's a positive....no doubt. But I am anxious to see what sales are like after the Zelda buzz wears off and there are no major titles for months at a time and no Mario until Christmas. Speaking of which, I think they will sell a butt load this holiday season when the library is built up to a respectable level and announced games are on the horizon for '18. I know that is when I plan to buy one. Nothing I have seen announced makes me want to get one now. Zelda I got for the U.......mario kart 8 is collecting dust on my shelf......splatoon with new maps and guns is not enough.........and when I am on the go I am usually active and can't play. I say this now but will probably have one come June

@lebanese_boy I am not "blaming" them for anything. With a dead console and no new software, they needed to stay relevant and they did at the expense of their customers that thought the NES Classic Edition was an actual product from Nintendo instead of an advertising campaign that was going to be paid for by the fans. But come on.....for months Nintendo has lied and said that it is hard to ramp up production of a system that is running games from 3 decades ago and has the chipset of a calculator......yet they can DOUBLE the production of their new system in a few weeks? Is anyone that much of a fool to believe that crap ?
