I kept telling my friend Daniel to have a Pokemon match with me, and he finally said ok. I got my a$$ handed to me, and once my Infernape fainted, I knew it was over.

I accidentally chose RUN and forfeited the match with one Pokemon left (Psyduck). I seriously didn't think I would be allowed to run from the match, because they don't let you choose the ITEMS option, so I figured that the RUN option would be disabled too.

Well, forfeit or not, the record shows that I have lost my first Pokemon match. I owe you a rematch, dude. Sorry for running.

Well, Daniel wasn't undefeated anyways, so yeah. Next time I won't lose, bro. Consider this part of your birthday present. Heh heh... Nah, good game.

I guess I should have posted this last week, but I was making other posts, and I don't like posting more than one blog per day.

Anyways, I got 100% completion on Kirby's Adventure. I unlocked the the Bonus Game, which is basically the same thing as the main game, but with less health. I've been working on that play-through while getting my last few remnants of hw for this semester finished.

I went to Target today. Surprisingly, I didn't get any games or game accessories; I actually decided to get a couple books.

I got WWE The Hardcore Diaries by Mick Foley, which is another autobiography by the aforementioned retired wrestler. I probably won't start reading it until next week, but I'm excited about it.

I also got Lois Lowry's The Giver. I've heard good things about it, and I am really looking forward to reading it

In other news, I finished reading The Awakening this morning. I really liked it. It was pretty twisted, and it touched on romance, mental instability, and other things.

I just saw the video review for Mario Party 8. The guy said that chance plays too big a role on whether you win or lose the board game competitions, but he also stated that the mini-games are solid, varying, and fun.

I also saw that Donkey Kong Country 2 was released for the Virtual Console, so now I need another Points card.

Oh, and I still want Super Paper Mario.

Well, I guess it was an ok game. Nothing special. For 6 bucks I would say I got ripped off, but it served its purpose. I even got a few laughs out of it. There's a cheat that enables Hard Mode, but I don't think even a completist such as myself would want to waste 45 minutes to an hour playing this game again when I could be playing something more fun like Kirby's Adventure or Donky Kong Country.

I played Kirby's Adventure earlier. I played for 2 hours and a half. It's pretty fun. It's not difficult, and the gameplay mechanics are easy to get accustomed to. The bosses are really fun and really unique.

It's another one of those classic platformers that wins you over with both it's gameplay and charm. Not only is it solid, but it's also nice to look at and listen to.

So Batista just won a Fatal Fourway against Kane, Finlay, and Mark Henry. Now he has a World Heavyweight title match against Edge at ECW One Night Stand in 9 days.

You know, I'm getting tired of Batista getting title shots. Since he lost the title to Undertaker, he keeps saying he wants to win back "his" title. Ok, here it is: if it really WAS "his" title, he wouldn't have to win it back!

Don't get me wrong; I think Batista has potential. He's a great wrestler, but clearly it isn't his time to win the title back. He's been beaten by the Undertaker; he's had draw matches with the Undertaker; and he's been beaten by Edge. Batista is good, but clearly not good enough to be World Heavyweight champion.

I really hope Edge beats Batista in the Cage Match at One Night Stand. Then hopefully Batista starts feuding with Mark Henry again so we can see a main event WITHOUT him. What I REALLY want to see is Edge go against Chris Benoit!

Well, my little bird Cornflakes died. I buried her next to where I buried her son. I was sad, but she was in a lot of pain for about a week, so I'm glad that she's not suffering anymore.

Sigh...

Well, at least she had a good life for being a bird. She had a mate, a kid, and she was one of the tame ones, so she wasn't confined to her cage.

I've been wallowing in self pity for the past few weeks and I haven't been keeping track of any game news.  Well, I just did some much-needed catching up.

I'm super excited for Super Mario Strikers Charged.  I got addicted to the first one, and now that this one is going to have online play, I can tell I'm going to spend countless hours playing this one!  Argh!  Too excited!!!!

Metroid Prime 3 Corruption looks to be promising.  I'll be looking out for this one!

I'm thinking of preordering the GTA IV Special Edition bundle.  It's $90, but I think it's worth it.  I don't have my PS3 yet, but I really want that Special Edition package!

The mini-games in Mario Party 8 look fun!  I like how the raft one looks!  I want this too, but I'll probably get it later on.

So Smash Bros. is getting a website with daily updates?  Hopefully they have more details with time, because I really want this game!

Aww, Death Jr. for the DS got a poor rating.  I was looking forward to it too.  Oh, well, you can't win them all!

I think my sleep deprivation has finally caught up with me. Last night I was finishing up some reading and writing an essay. I got a little less than 3 hours of sleep.

Today, I was falling asleep on the bus. When I got to school, I went to the restroom. I was alone in there, and it was really quiet. For some reason, I got the feeling someone was watching me. I felt that someone was going to jump out from behind me and scare me. It was weird; I had never felt that way before.

I need to get some sleep. It's even difficult typing this up. You don't know how many times I've had to hit the BACKSPACE key to delete an error here.
