ssb was always meant to be a party game. dont get me wrong, i love it. but it doesnt have the depth or strategy of capcom and snk fighters. of course the mvc games are better, its because they are meant to be fighting games while ssb is a party game.

you can't review fighting games, even if you were given a whole week to play them. they are always evolving, people figure out new combos, moves, techniques, and strategies that aren't readily available. look at mvc2, it initially looked like a button masher, yet after 10 years it has become one of the best fighting games (albiet unbalanced). the same goes for all the kof, sf, and mk games. look at cvs2, it wasnt amazing at first, but when the roll was discovered the game totally opened up into a phenomenal fighting game.
alright so here is my situation. i have a gtx260 and i am pretty happy with, however i will be going to college soon and i am bringing my desktop with me and unless i somehow get a ton of money during my college years (gonna be pretty cash strapped) i will have to keep it for the next couple years. i have about 200-250 bucks, so i was thinking about picking a 6950 so it could last me for a LONG time. I dont want to get a new card if i dont have to however, so if you guys imagine a gtx260 at 1600*900 will give me great fps for the next few years than i will stick with it, but otherwise i will upgrade. (also i cant sli, b/c i have a crossfire board). the rest of my rig is good, so the only problem is the gtx260(which i am currently satisfied with).
thanx in advance
consumer surplus. they know that gamers are willing to pay more for their games and will price it higher, just because they can. i bet they could move the price up another 5 bucks and people still wouldnt care (10 might be a bit extreme for one shot, but it could get to that level in increments)

nobody beats john carmack, not even miyamoto imo. he advanced computer graphics to a whole new level and consistently made amazing games along the way such as doom, quake, and wolfenstein
nanosaur. i used to play that game in elementary school. you play as a dinosaur shooting other dinosaurs. it was the ****
wtf? brink is nothing like borderlands, its like a mix between mirror's edge and quake wars enemy territoryBrink = Borderlands with competitive multiplayer.
Bulletstorm = over-the-top violence that will be old within a month.
I played the hell out of Borderlands and it's expansions, but neither of these look appealing to me. I MIGHT buy Brink if the competitive multiplayer is really good, but barring that, I'm not interested in either.SerOlmy
