Glad Microsoft listened to some feedback. I don't think it helped they were probably a bit embarrassed at E3 by Sony. I was extremely critical of some of their decisions and still am about certain ones. But this is an absolute plus and puts the One in a buyable range for me.

I've seen a number of people complain about this for various reason. The game is too old. The game isn't good enough. It's just a scam. All sorts of stuff. If you're already paying for a Live account and don't have the game, I think it's fantastic. You may like it, you may not. I loved Fable 2 but never got around to 3, so I snagged it up. It's not as good as 2 but I still find it enjoyable.

From what I've seen, the game looks pretty good and seems to be keeping a lot of the core mechanics. Don't see how that's a bad thing, unless WB manages to completely bugger up what Rocksteady has already established.

Aside from that, I heard some rumor that Rocksteady was possibly going to work on a TMNT game. Anyone heard anymore about that or was it just some false hope?

When I was a teenager I always wanted to go to E3. Then I got old enough and never saved up enough... then it went private. Maybe one day I'll get to go. One of those things I could add to my bucket list.

Aside from a few exclusives and the controller, this is the next best thing the Xbox One has going for it. The original 360 headset was flimsy and cheap feeling, but I felt it's job pretty well.

@The_Last_Ride Microsoft should take a few notes. In all reality, compared to Nintendo and even Sony, they are still the new kids on the block and have a lot to learn.

Free-to-play and microtransactions are doing exceptionally well because a lot of those are on mobile devices. And many of the people playing those aren't gamers in any form or fashion. They're someone playing some corny game while killing time waiting for someone or some thing.

"Oh, my subway commute is 20 minutes. Let me whip out my phone and play Candy Crush Saga. Ooh, look I can buy a shiny!"

The people playing your "ballooning budget" games aren't the same as playing those. And as far as budgets go, maybe spending needs to be reigned in a bit. Just because gaming really blew up this generation and has done so well doesn't mean it will always be that way. This is an industry that tends to go in cycles, so getting used to selling 10 million copies and budgets of $50 million probably isn't the best of things to get comfortable with.

@BrutalPandaX2 @bender961 I was wondering, too. Some of the most sold games in the history of video games are Nintendo games. Some of the highest reviewed games of all time are Nintendo games.

As someone who enjoys achievements (I don't know why, really), this sounds kind of interesting. But it will most likely be quite awhile before I even consider picking up an Xbox One.

I was kind of excited about the revival of Killer Instinct. But then it looked more like Street Fighter. But then it said free to play and I was like "Cool!" And then I see they only give you one character, Jago. Who even likes Jago? It should have been Cinder!
