While I don't really do any importing or anything these days, I am in full support of any user-friendly features. And while I want to support the XBox One, Microsoft has made it difficult to do so. At this point Sony is just embarrassing them. Though I wonder how many of Sony's decisions were based on the backlash Microsoft got?

This is just as ugly as the Xbox One. It's like they're both going for some sort of retro 80's look for their systems.

Though I am happier with some announcements from Sony.

@Thanatos2k I was going to comment, but you pretty much summed it up. I'm sure there are plenty of actual gamers who play mobile games, but as a whole, I would say a lot of these people are just someone downloading some game to kill time while they wait for whatever. No real dedication to it, just something to pass the time.

I'm hoping SR IV will be great. I doubt I'll be getting the wub wub edition, but might pick up the Commander in Chief version. I remember watching videos for SR 3 and thinking it looked incredibly stupid because it went so far with the humor, but I ended up loving it like the first two. Sure the series has gotten a lot less serious over time, I think it's a nice juxtaposition to GTA, which took the opposite route. Being more outlandish and getting more serious as it developed. I also have no qualms with it starting out as DLC. That doesn't necessarily mean it is going to be crap or have less content. I like to think of it as having a head start on development. Hopefully that's right...

Not a surprising move on Nintendo's part. I certainly wouldn't take it as some sort of "sky is falling" situation and that Nintendo is doomed. Nintendo is doing just fine on other fronts.

If anything, I would say this is a smart decision. Why put out the shoddy 8 gig version when you can pay just a bit more and get 32 gigs and a game? Not to mention black consoles just look sexier. But I wouldn't be surprised if they end up putting out a higher end version.

I'm curious to how this will turn out. Blizzard has some great stories throughout the Warcraft lore, so there is a lot to work from. Obviously I think most would agree that a Blizzard-made CGI film would be best, but live action could work if done right. Just look at Lord of the Rings. If done properly, this could also boost their subscriber numbers back up... not that they are bad numbers to begin with. Even with a dwindling subscriber base, they're still well above most other MMORPGs.

And while video game movies tend to be... well, sucky, Blizzard tends to be pretty tight about their properties and what can and can't be done with them. So I'm hoping they won't let them go all willy nilly with it and just do whatever.

The mount looks pretty cool and if I had some extra cash laying around, I'd probably buy it.

Blizzard has been doing this for a long while now. It's nothing new and nothing to really be outraged over. Though I think it was a lot cooler when some of the pets they were selling, a portion of the money went to charities.

I have to say they had a really horrible reveal. When you do a reveal, you should leave people wanting more, but having some questions answered. They were left with a bunch of angry gamers and a million questions that only got a "we'll discuss that later" type answer. Seems more like they rushed it to get it out before E3 and try to keep up with Sony's (also) lackluster reveal.

C'mon Microsoft, you did a pretty bang up job with the 360.

I think many people are underestimating Nintendo. I don't think they'll lead this generation, but I'm willing to bet that they will have solid sales once their big titles start shipping.
