Any higher than $499 or £429 and they're at a real risk of pricing themselves out of the market again. PS4 sold better because it was superior hardware for an affordable price.
@Flyin3lvl: Well ... yeah. The difference is, running at Native wasn't as much of a big deal back then. We now live in a world were people are switched on and want the most bang for their buck.
@batts86: Hang about ... I believe it was you that rode into here on your high horse and started throwing the "ms kids" insults around, all I did was voice my opinion on the Project Scorpio. If anyone is acting like a petulant child here it's you. There's a factual remark for you little guy.
The fact that the PS4 Pro is doing Fake 4K is an impressive feat. It also leaves me with no doubt that the Scorpio will deliver Native 4K given the 2TF extra GPU power and the extra 3GB of memory at a much higher 320 GB/s bandwidth. My only concern is the frame rate. I don't want too see games go down the 4K route and only deliver Locked 30 FPS. I'd rather they dialed it back to 1080p / 1440p and deliver 60 FPS. Nothing ruins a game faster for me than a shitty frame rate.
@Warlord_Irochi: Fanboys like you bring me hours of entertainment, poke the beehive a little and watch how defensive you get over your little piece of plastic.
