@ClunkerSlim: haha... Google what? Oh you mean the little change-ski? Its the 21st century. Just put out a good movie and i don't give an F who you are.
I at least thank Sony for allowing him to be in the MCU. Spidey is my most favorite Marvel character, and I'm glad we got to see him in the MCU. And also got a great spider man game... But even though it will probably never happen, i would love to see spider man and any other Marvel character, return home.
We've seen enough attempts made by film companies with greedy intentions.
Well, i can't wait to see what a Wachowski sister can produce. The Brothers did an excellent job. The Matrix movies are really close for 1st place in my all time, must see, movie franchises. (even the 2nd & 3rd movies had their "bad ass" moments)
If it wasn't for that "freeloader" comment, i would have just dismissed it as a little flaming war between some trolls and some shity devs. But after i read that whole comment on reddit. I was like... Hell NO!
If it was me, the devs involved would have been fired, simple.
Whether or not what SOME of the community was saying would be described as toxic or threating. There is a BIG difference IMO from (most likely) some kids wanting to start shit, and "responsible" adults (devs) that get paid good money to do a job thats something of a dream job to most gamers... And instead of answering constructive feedback from their paying fanbase, they would rather ignore good feedback people are giving them, just to add more fuel to the fire... And i may be mistaken, but wasn't it the "community manager" and the "project lead" that was fueling all this? Again, instead of the wooden response from the CEO. How about making an example of "MANAGERS" that should have known better.
Freeloader is pretty much the most disrespectful word you can use to describe a gamer that buys in to your product. Even a free to play game... Your investing something more valuable than money could ever be... YOUR TIME!
Lol, we are freeloaders because we don't wanna spend at least 3Xs the price of a regular priced game, just for some shity cosmetics, that won't even matter in the slightest anymore once the new cash grab is out. Its sad that some gamers don't see that, and is why the game industry is in the shape that its in... THIS MTX SHIT WILL NEVER GET BETTER AS LONG AS THESE COMPANIES ARE MAKING BILLIONS, YES BILLIONS ON MTX ALONE.
Look at GTA5, Do you think that rockstar made the most money on the 100 million uniits they pushed or the shark cards they been selling for the last 6 years? Heres a hint, shark cards and ALL the material they make for the game (that you use shark cards on) is ALL DIGITAL GOODS! the other (at least with physical) they got box art and disc cost, marketing, shelf space at retailers ect.
You can see that this is why game companies are pushing digital era/sales and MTX. Next to nothing of the cost and it takes 5 minutes to come up with a MTX cosmetic idea and probably even less time to create it. Fallout 76 santa suit a few months back is a great example.
Anything over .99 is too much for ANY cosmetic item... and thats if you REALLY want it. The random RNG is a very stupid game to play. The fifa series come to mind, pretty much any sport games now days.
@thomaswmak: i loved reading the back and forth comments between you and gunny, it was hilarious reading while sitting on the shitter. Anyways, your right, gunnys wrong. Case closed! Lol
@Xero_Kaiser: Chemical attacks can be a lot worst than nuclear. Think of it this way. A nuclear attack destroys everything (people, buildings, crops ect) within the blast radius, then lingering radiation lays waste to everything in the area for years. Chemical attacks are different. They can be made to target anything, or a particular thing (i.e people) therefore leaving buildings and properties, valuables ect. in tact, not destroying the land, Not making it uninhabitable for life due to nuclear fallout.
Basically clearing everyone out, and taking over everything, without the price of having to rebuild.
@sippio: hasn't happened in a live action flick yet (that i know of) but the old 90s spider man cartoon (great series) has a animated white blade... I thought it was kinda weird (both the white blade and the whole story arc) but still worth a watch
@tombrown788: To be fair, Marvel movies are sourced largely from the comics... And in the comics, most of the characters both male & female are white. So its not exactly "white washing" if the character were created white originally.
Personally I'm not much on changing source material,, regardless of skin color, sex ect.
This is why Disney announced the Asian led "Shang Chi" and upcoming "Black Panther 2" & of course "Blade" reboot... Because they are aware of the cultural & racial comments online... Its also the reason why we are seeing a black spider man, a black johnny storm (human torch F4) and a few other "adaptations" i can't think of off the top of my head.
