@IanNottinghamX Tried to be?, it was definitely open world and huge, not very complex though, and as repetitive as any other game I would say. Unimaginative, yes.
Just Cause 2 was a very good fun game, with horrible voice acting and terrible sound. Just Cause 3 would be good news to me, just add stealth mechanics, fix the pathetic sound and voices and please, explosions should cause shockwaves!
Interesting premise, but we still have to see how this is implemented into the gameplay. I personally think that having to look at your controller forces you to take eyes off the screen, which is never a good thing in gaming. It might feel counter-intuitive too.
@Jd1680a True, but good games rarely end up back in the system before 3 months, crappy, short, or otherwise low quality or low value for your dollar games get traded in that fast.
When I buy a new game I know it's a game I will enjoy, play for a long time and might ultimately keep if replay values is high. If I just want to experiment with something that is not in the subject or genres I enjoy then I buy used.
Yeah, so if they said they're selling point would be "authenticity" in putting the player in "war" then I expected the game to feel more like ArmA than CoD, but it was the other way around. I passed.
Ofcourse they're against it and defending their MO, but it's logical. Although I don't support their "rip off" trade in scheme it is the truth after all, many people would not buy and it is an unfriendly thing to do.
MS and SONY need to come forward and clarify this subject, say is it's true and explain how they will mitigate the loss caused to the costumer, will new games cost half what they cost now?
@kigjhdk @mappyislove Disagree, maybe some of the storytelling elements might not fit, but the core mechanics of gameplay just fit perfectly into the ninja concept.
