I was recently scanning through the trophy list for Bioshock and noticed that there are 58 tonics to discover in the PS3 version and only 53 in the XBox version. Is this a typo? If not, does anyone know what the 5 new tonics are for the PS3?

They're the biggest pain if you're like me and trying to rush the level and don't know where they're coming from. Luckily they are easy to kill.

[QUOTE="supa_badman"]after trying the demo i want to know if i need to know the story of other mgs games to fully understand this one.KH-mixerX

You could probably understand the story fine, but a lot of things that will mean a lot to fans will probably just go straight over the top of your head if you haven't played the others. The story definitely has more impact if you already have knowledge of the series.

Yea at the very least, read up on the main ideas of the first 3.

Or DL the MGS Database and study it till your eyes fall out.

MGS Database would be your best option cause it has everything as far back as the original Metal Gear on NES. The story does go back that far.

I've played my fair share of COD4 and have never seen someone with that many kills in one game! I've seen over a hundred kills in a match, but this is insane!!! So insane that the math doesn't even add up! Give it up for photoshop! Woot Woot!

I wondered how long the co-op was going to be. I was in the private beta and now in the public and after noticing a few things I really wondered about the length. Not going into details, but 1 mission can easily take 20 - 30 minutes depending on how well the team works together.

So I decided to break out Rock Band last night to freshen up for the RB2 in a month. I was going through the music store from the disc and noticed that some songs had been labeled as "Purchased". They were songs from bands that I don't enjoy and definitely wasn't on my song list to play. I checked the PSN to see if they had the "playstation bag", as I call it, letting me know that the item has been purchased or downloaded. 90% of the songs weren't even on the PS store and the few that were didn't have the symbol on it. Would that symbol show up on the PS store if you purchased from the game? Is it a glitch in the store since most of the songs aren't available on the store yet? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but I'm in the R2 beta and didn't do a thing. Didn't download Qore, buy G.I. or anything.

I don't have a screen shot here, but I paused my tivo and got the list from 7/1/08's X-Play on G4. They were showing some screens and just talking about the new guitar makeover, but the real news was the last screen of the Rock Band Store. Most songs listed have been released or are planned for release but some songs have never been mentioned outside of wish lists. Here's the list that was shown:

Solid Song list

Panic Attack, Chop Suey, Give it Away, Everlong, Kids in America, Ace of Spades, Hello There, Anyway You Want It, Pinball Wizard, More Than A Feeling, All The Small Things.

Also there's a rumor that TurboNegro is going to be on the game, as well, for all you fans.

Ok, so I'm watching X-Play right now as I type this, getting my daily fix of Morgan Webb and low and behold they have Rock Band 2 info. They're talking about the games new guitar controller design and show some screen shots. I don't have a way of posting screenshots, but someone please record this show and get this picture up. The last picture they showed was of the Rock Band online store and available songs. I can't list all of them, cause I can't remember, but the 3 that stuck out was Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Give It Away", Motorhead's "Ace Of Spades" and SOAD's "Chop Suey"! If anyone has info on these songs being future DLC or possibly on the RB2 disk, please share the wealth! Those 3 songs alone are worth the purchase! Don't forget it was shown on the 7-1-08 episode of X-Play. Catch the rerun and post the rest of the songs that were shown. I need the rest of that list and Morgan Webb.
