People keep saying on here to wait for E3, but why? I feel that this conference was a chance to get some easy stuff out of the way. I can guarantee that EA will be back again for E3, and COD Ghosts will be back again for Microsoft's conference. This conference should have been about giving us everything that they could have possibly given us. Thus leaving them and us with a whole conference of surprises. Just like we predicted that they would show us the Kinect, Ghosts, and the box. I can predict that they will show us more Kinect, more Ghosts, more EA, and hopefully one of the 15 exclusives that they "announced" today. Today they showed us what we expected.
@experience_fade They are gamers and at the Sony conference they showed us games. Can you blame them or any one else for that matter? I feel if they would have shown us games, (which could have been inserted after you cut all of the build up chatter) it would have been better then Sony's conference. If you actually listen to some of the podcasts, they actually play most of the games on the 360 over the PS3 if I'm not mistaken.
@xhawk27 It only takes a few seconds of stage time to show a box anyways. Not a big deal. On top of the fact that people hardly look at their console. We can turn on and off our console's via remote so there is very little interaction with our console; other then putting in a disc.
Like the others before me, I have to agree with you Kevin. I was sold on the PS4 after the conference. Today I was wanting for Microsoft to get me back on their side. I sold my 360 and got a PS3 and I have never regretted it since. Today I was waiting for Microsoft to buy me back but they didn't. Some might say that they are keeping it for E3 but then this puts Sony ahead because they have already revealed some games and can now announce different games and show different games then from what we have already seen. I wasn't impressed at all. "Our console can go back and forth between screens fast." I would hope so if you have 8 gigs of ram to work with. If it doesn't then you're in trouble. "We have so many more servers now from when we did in 1999." I would really hope so, that was more then a decade ago. Microsoft needs to play there cards very well until E3 but even then the future seems bleak.
P.S. Showing us a bunch of multi-plate games means nothing. Saying you have exclusives means nothing when so many games get canceled, teams get disbanded, and only a few games live past the first few months. If you look at xbox today the majority of the gamers only play Halo 4, Black Ops 2, and Gears of War Judgement. You can name more "exclusive" games for xbox but they are no where to be found today in the mainstream
I love how Tom helps him, it reminds me of how I help people. I know what to do but I don't say because I want the person to figure it out on there own. Then they go away from what they are supposed to do then you have to step in. 18:30 to about 20:30 lol
