I know it is kind of far off but I'm playing the game for the second time and I noticed something about the vigors. When you get Devil's Kiss for the first time Booker says, "That was more than a sample." Maybe that has something to do with people not having vigors or abusing them.
@JohnMark320 Kojima won't put it in. People have asked him before about that version of MGS1 and he said that is wasn't his project, it was silicon knights, thats why he doesn't reference it or use it.
I'm just now coming back to come and finish this podcast and I would like to say people have, will be, and still are effected by what they see. Two years ago I did a performance of Bernstein's Mass. It was during one of the last scenes that we made a few people leave the theater and they didn't finish the show. I say this because just because you don't feel a direct connect to what you may be viewing doesn't mean the next person won't.
Kevin I hope you get back to Rising because it becomes a much better game later on. The game does stop you multiple times in the beginning but it gets better and the growth of Raiden is pretty interesting as the game goes along. With the game giving you different weapons it is fun to switch around the weapons and the last boss fights are very intense. I love the last fight with Sam. For me it was a big difficulty jump but it gets you ready for the final boss fight.
