@smurfa1 Actually that would be pretty cool if you ask me. Some people think advertisement in games is bad but I find it more realistic. I would prefer a twix but a snickers will do.
@smurfa1 So you're a xbox fanboy and you have made that apparent. XBL isn't superior, it is all in a matter of taste. I like the fact that their is no cross game chat. This means that when I'm playing a game with people everyone in that lobby will be talking to me instead of somebody else. This way we can talk and make plans to win. Instead of me wondering why the guy is going lone wolf dying all the time.
You are right they did mess up. Although they fixed the problem, gave the community two free PS3, one or two PSP games and a few more things in return. More then have of those 60 million users returned. As to this day I'm pretty sure when an individual account gets hacked on XBL the only thing they will tell you is "We are sorry, change your account info and have a nice day."
@smurfa1 The difference here is that if you don't pay Gamespot you still get full access to the site. His argument is if you don't pay for gold you miss out and you can't do things. If you don't pay for the service here you can still pretty much do everything.
This is ridiculous. I would give them a 60$ game so they would give me the money so I could go and buy another violent 60$ game. Doing this does nothing. Violent media doesn't create a violent person. If a person was going to do something violent, them watching a movie or video game is not going to change or persuade them otherwise.
Studies have been done to prove against this. I think I will go and round up my friends tomorrow and just play every violent game we can find. Anybody have Manhunt?
@darksoul1968 Please, I do too buddy. Check my profile and look at the research I did for Phantom Pain. Also please name one game that was just as constant, graphically powerful, and the replay value of MGS4. In order to get all of the emblems it takes at least five playthroughs if memory serves me right. On top of the fact that it had multiplayer at the time. People are still asking for the multiplayer to come back because it was fun. Looking back on the game now it was average as compared to games today, but at its time it was the best there was. Even today I feel it is graphically better then most games that get released for consoles.
@SebCrakpot1234 That is true but when you look at most of the games that have come out this year and most of them have you doing the same thing with very little to look into, a game that makes you look will be better. This game opened their eyes like it did most other gamers who played it and loved. I'm not saying that it won the award because it was fresh and new. I'm saying it won the award because it had a formula and it did it very well. I personally haven't played it but I am defending Gamespot because everyone loves to hate them for being critical and honest. This game did something different and it did it well. When I get some money I will be sure to get this game.
@xaviermf I can agree with that but almost every game today is short. This generation has been crippled by online gameplay. Almost every game has some online component. For most of those games the online is the only portion. When PSN went down there were games that got delayed because it was 90% online and the offline was useless. I love online gameplay but developers spend too much time on the online portion and not enough on the offline.
I needed to play this game before but now I really need to play this game. I see all of the hate and its probably from the people who have only been playing Call of Duty and Halo for the past month. This game won awards from many sites so respect the decision.
When feedbackula comes back they should use this for episode one. The ignorant comments are all over.
