Vegas... hmm am I missing a trick here? Maybe I should check it out.

Any sci-fi options?

no sci-fi just a really fun game to play from start to finsh and the multiplayer can get pretty addicting with all there is to customize/achieve. one of the better shooters in the last year+. definitely worth your time and money. and speaking of value i think dead rising is a platinum classic now which is a great buy for $29.99(i think that is the sale price) or you can always buy it used. happy gaming boss.

[QUOTE="jayfi33"]funny thing....i dont see killzone on many must have lists these days. Halo is on pretty much every toop ten list for games over the last ten years, i played both and i couldnt put Halo down when i first got it. i think i played non stop for like 7 hours when i first got it. the graphics argument doesnt do much for me because when i am really into a game the graphics almost become secondary to how much fun i am having playing the game and Halo was just a 10 in that department. Halo is widely regarded as one of the very best games of the last decade+ and for good reason.fs_metal
That speaks volumes for just how bad peoples taste are, doesn't it? If you want to enjoy generic first person shooters, go right ahead. I, however, will enjoy FPS games that are actually worth a damn

guess you stopped reading after that part you decided to highlight. I clearly said that the game is great because the enjoyment factor is through the roof and i couldnt stop playing which has been pretty much a universal experice for people who play Halo. I guess it sold like hotcakes and started a cultlike following because it was so generic. give me a break and get a clue. Killzone was good but not really in the same league as Halo.

i think pretty much everyone on this thread agrees that after the feeling of disorientation in the first hour or so that the controls become very sharp indeed. Enjoy the game man.

the missiles are effectuve against some of the enemies that can be frozen then shattered and i pretty much used them for that and not much else. i seemed to always forget i even had them during boss fights because the beam and hypermode is so effective once you have 5 or 6 energy tanks in reserve. i think if theenemies were tougher the missiles may have come into play a little more.

i didnt find it that bad at all, i am almost done with the game and there was only really one part where i got stuck and it was early onin the game. the map is really your best friend in this one. As long as you explore every possible area you cant really miss an objective. I like going back too and reaching the previously unreachable areas to see something new. Game is executed very well.
