Iwas watching an interview where Ken levine, the creative director of the game, said there was no multiplayer because he would rather make one great game than two pretty good games. I couldnt agree with him more. i wonder if games like the darkness would have been even better if they scrapped the MP and added a few more things to the single player mode.im glad there was no multiplayer, the single player story was more than enough for me. great game.
the reason it is under an 9 is because they are taking it in the context if all 3 prime games and they believe this to be the weakest. so if they gave prime 2 a 9.1 they cant give a 9.0 to prime 3. if you took the game as a single project having had no prime games before it would have had a higher rating. the only prolem i have with the review is that they get a medal for sharp control and then in the "bad" section they talk about control issues. contradiction much? i have been playing it and it is a ton of fun - dont let an 8.5 (which is a high score anyway) dissuade you from getting the game.

i agree. forza was a gran turismo rip off. it hada bunch of tracks from GT and i got bored pretty quick.the online was ok andthe customization feature was better than the game itself. i traded in forza 2 having logged less than 10 hoursso i could get bioshock which was a far superior game experience. forza more like 7.0 - bioshock is ok at a 9 but if they had the old system it probably would have come in arounf 9.3 or so - guess they rounded down in their heads.
if you rescue every little sister you will get the achievment after you finish the game during the final cutscene (which i will not spoil for you). you dont have to rescue them all - just dont harvest any and you will get the little sister savior achievment. the "dealt with every little sister" achievment will also unlock if you rescue/harvest all of the sisters or do a mix of both as long as you confront ewvery one.
unless you have lost all feeling in your hands then rip off the plastic or use a scissor and open the game and inserti it in the wii. strap on wii-mote and chuck and get ready to blast away - awesome boss battles!
youve got some pretty solid games to play -resident evil 4, twilight princess and metroid prime 3 to name a few plus you have mario galaxy and smash brothers coming in november/december and the new mario kart early next year with some cool new peripherals. i have been playing prime and it is very good. The wii sports is also a ton of fun either by yourself or with a bunch of friends. thumbs up
