@iandizion713: Yeah, I get what you're saying but that's a different example: the studio they are helping has a distinct name and history separate from Sony. "Nintendo EPD" is just Nintendo. Media Molecule, Monolith Soft, and Naughty Dog are all established developers who existed prior to being purchased by Sony/Nintendo. Sony Japan, Sony Santa Monica, etc. can all be referred to as simply Sony since they are studios which Sony created, similar to how Nintendo EPD are just a development division created by Nintendo in 2015.
@xOmniCloudx: When certain developer teams are prolific they are referred to by their company name. A famous example of this is Naughty Dog. A game made by Naughty Dog is always referred to as such, never as simply "Sony".
Both Naughty Dog and Monolith Soft have histories before they were owned by Sony/Nintendo so it makes sense to refer to them by their company name, without adding Sony/Nintendo at the start. OP's complaint just comes across as insecurity.
@moose-fitz: PS4 was also $100 cheaper. PS4s success was due to power and price. It is less easy to predict what will happen when a console is less powerful and cheaper... any console could win the Neo vs Scorpio battle.
