@biggamerdude: 10 doesn't mean perfect. Gamespot only uses a 10 point review scale so they round games which score a 9.5 or higher up to a 10. They should perhaps get a 100 point scale but then 10s would be even more rare, and the most a game could get is 9.9 since no game perfect.
@LPDisturbedHU: it's obviously difficult to do an extensive comparison. Still, Gears of War Judgement, the latest home console release, sold very poorly. Uncharted Golden Abyss sold badly too but that was on a handheld with only a couple million sold. The two series have sold very similarly but Uncharted has seen greater growth (the jump in sales from 1 to 2 is quite large) and hasn't seen a recent failure like Judgement so I do stand my claim it is more popular.
@LPDisturbedHU: The movie is apparently just the cutscenes from the game. So if you are a gamer pick up the PS4 game instead and don't bother with the movie.
@LPDisturbedHU: Well, Uncharted 3 has sold more copies than any singular Gears of War game, and The Nathan Drake Collection has sold 4 million compared with 2.4 million for Gears Ultimate Edition. I guess they are approximately equal in popularity but sales-wise Uncharted performs slightly better.
@smackdowner360: Uncharted could do well too. It's a more popular series than Gears of War and is an Indiana Jones/Tomb Raider type of story which is already successful at the theaters.
@bdrtfm: One thing wrong with your big rant: you can use controllers on PC. How do you close the game using a controller without an option in a menu? ALT + F4 and hitting the X in the corner of the screen are both incompatible with controllers.
@Fallenlords69: The first episode is important and should be reviewed, since it gives a taste to potential new customers. But each subsequent episode is inconsequential since no customer will jump into the game at the second episode, and those invested in the game won't skip episodes.
