@darksynced: Bethesda's conference was great. Prey, Dishonored 2, Quake, etc. A good mix of new games and new gameplay. The only bad things were the forced humor and puns.
@Thanatos2k: The rest of the game made perfect sense to me... I understand time travel stories easily, though, so being disjointed doesn't harm the game much imo.
@sillycatsteven: XIII-2 was the best of the series imo. Caius was a great villain while XIII and LR had forgettable villains and conflicts which weren't interesting. XIII-2 also had the best gameplay and the design of the world and campaign was much more interesting than XIII.
@Thanatos2k: Yeah, the cliff hanger ending was stupid but everything else about the game was good. I don't let the last 5 minutes ruin a game for me... For instance, no one can convince me Mass Effect 3 is a bad game because of that ending.
@Thanatos2k: XIII was bad but XIII-2 was a great game imo. The Pokemon-esque collecting of monsters, being able to switch between characters in combat, no instant-game over when one character faints, having some non-linear aspects, time travel, good villain, etc.
@Judeuduarte: the ps3 was more powerful than the 360 but the architecture was more complex. So many third party games played better on 360 since it was easy to code for while ps3 had more visually impressive exclusives.
@caseyrybek: Game reviews aren't math. They play a game they put an arbitrary score on the game which reflects how much fun they had. They then write an essay about the game. Minor flaws can impact one game while not the other depending on the type of game and goals it tried to achieve.
