There is never a really easy way to break up with some one, you may or may not have that person as a friend afterwards, all i can say is just be gentle about it and say it in person

I done it by text once but at the end I ended up going back out with her because she returned with a long heartfelt text. I'd advise you to do it face to face that way you say "hey your dumped" then casually walk away.

Face to face is best. Online and texting is a cop out imo. I believe that if you've been with someone that you owe them a face to face break up. It may be hard to do but its the best way.
