I'm sure all publishers would rather us buy it new. After all, that is how publishers make money. They would not publish any games if they could not sell them. Yea, in a perfect world we'd all work for free, right?

The article is clearly lambasting MS and Sony for targeting the stereotyped male 20-something gamer and supposedly excluding everyone else. Well, marketing a video game system to girls is as dumb as marketing a Barbie Doll to middle aged men.
They should start marketing Barbie dolls to middle aged men. It's just terribly sexist and anti-diversity that Mattel, Inc only markets their dolls to little girls.
