@ALLoY1717 I reckon easily 90% of the people I know who own a Wii are the type of casual player who would never even consider buying one of the other two major consoles. They're the type who play Mario Cart or Wii Sport when friends come over for a drink, but wouldn't even use it to play a 'proper' game like Monster Hunt.
Sony and MS won't have trouble selling new generation consoles because gamers actually want to see what publishers can do with more power. On the other hand, the core experience of Nintendo's main catalogue of casual-user friendly games never changes, so investing in new hardware is kind of piontles.
@WhiteTulip1 Having lived a various places in Africa and Asia, and having traveled a lot in Europe, I can safely tell you Australia's racism problem is minute compared to most of the world. Still an issue, most certainly, but clearly over-hyped if you've witnessed the overt and extreme racism in much of the world.
@unikat I would think that most people should have heard of Bosnia, if only because the Balkans were a pretty hot news topic towards the end of the 90's.
Australia is a very good place to live, most complaints about the place are merely expressions of expediency.
@MagicMarker44 Your internet subscription doesn't help Sony maintain its servers, and paying a piddling $60 isn't exactly going line Sony's pockets.
They'll be plenty of people still playing online-MP on the PS3 for probably a couple years to come, so if it's that bad for you you'll still have the MP that you enjoy now.
