@inscript You can pre-order PS4 console for $550 in Australia, games marked at $118. Most new games cost $100+ in a store or from a local online business.
I hope more people here start to realise buying games from the UK is an option that gets you games for what the rest of the world is complaining about - half the local price! Peace.
@Diablo-B @strothers101 @archelius Well, I've had a girlfriend/partner and a massive crush on Misty (among others) since the late 90's, and I can definitely see the appeal of focusing on the rendered/drawn/painted one at times.
It's not sad, it comes from the same reasons people want to walk the forests in a computer game instead of go for a real bushwalk sometimes.
@Blue_Tomato Remember for people like you who may not have the internet or who live in a country not served by MS servers; there is already a console for you - The XBox 360.
@shruteshkumar It would create a strange market where we all basically play highly interactive PC's. With cross compatibility the various makers of consoles would have to differentiate somehow - simple models, high class models, connectivity features - basically a PC fully connected into your TV, internet and game ecosystem. To cater to them all they'd produce games that play at different specs on different models. This Gen already console architecture is becoming very much like a dedicated gaming PC, so it's not a stretch to think that the next generation (2018-20) could be something like that.
@pound-u @Trickymaster If this is a huge patch for the game I might just finish it this time around. I thought the original release was a bit of a mess, so I'm hoping for big changes here, especially with the AI and those retarted boss battles.
@Ayzed Does it not remind you somewhat of the recent I Am Legend film? I wonder if you can talk to mannequins in the game, too? I've never liked anything by Techland, but this looks quite convincing.
@BlackBaldwin I hope one of those details is a full, awesome, kind of open-world, offline single-player campaign. I don't want to share my game with you (no offense, and not you in particular), and based on my general shooter skill level you really don't want me on your team either.
@MuggyTadpole Games like Destiny and The Division don't appear to give you the ability to really play by yourself at all, there doesn't seem to be a coherent campaign as such, so if you're solo you're wandering around looking for a group to pair into. Many games seem to be heading in this interactive direction and it's pretty annoying.
