@Neubmann: This is exactly how it should work, and how I would imagine most developers would prefer it to work as well, as they can plan their long dev cycles well, and never be left in the lurch by a new console announcement.
@joshrmeyer: When you plug your laptop into your TV, right-click the sound icon in the bottom right of the screen and click playback devices, change default to HDMI. Revert to speakers when you unplug. The size may be because there is a difference in aspect ratio between the two screens. Or if is seems zoomed incorrectly, check your TV remote for a display size or format button. That should cycle through 4:3, 16:9, unscaled, zoomed and more zoomed presentation (or something similar) and one should make the screen fit.
Usually there is no difference between plugging a PC/DVD player/Xbox/whatever into a TV/monitor. But some laptops, especially with a slightly older TV, don't seem to communicate well at times.
@wendopolis_bruh: Until Dawn, Bloodborne, and now Uncharted 4 make the PS4 worth it to me. I own 8 other games, too, but 5 of those are remasters or cross-buys from PS3. And there are about a dozen upcoming titles I'm at least somewhat interested in. So I think there are plenty enough exclusives to make it worth it (I have a Titan X/i7-5820k based PC). I would definitely stump up for another PS4 it it could make those games run properly.
@ptown58: Why does having a good rig make an upgraded console irrelevant? Which is more likely to allow you to play all these 30fps PS4 exclusives at 60fps; Neo or a 980Ti?
@GhansB: After MGS4 I had no expectations of MGSV, and it still managed to be a lacklustre game. But Kojima has wanted out of MG and Konami for a long time, so I would hope he gets revitalized by the experience of freely working on what he wants to, and gets back to his early form.
@Metallicwolf29: He hasn't even done Metal Gear well for a decade. But given how good he was up to, and including, MGS3, I have some small amount of faith that he can revitalize himself now that he has left behind a franchise he has long wanted out of, and a company he had a rather poisonous relationship with.
Definitely getting Moon, because that angelic bat thing looks cool (even though I never use the legendary's because I'm always to attached to my mains by then). And starting with Litten, who looks to me like she has the same grumpy expression as my cat when I won't put her down and she's over being cuddled.
